Q: How do I tell my counter which kind of hits to count?A: If you look at the XXXCounter code in your HTML, you will see the following:
<IMG SRC="....xxxcounter.com/counter.cgi?page=nnnnn"> In the example above, nnnnn is your account number that you got when you signed up. Right in front of your "account number" you see the word page, which is the part of the code you should modify if you want it to count something else:

Q: What if I want to have multiple counters on my page and have them all displaying different information? Can I do that without affecting my stats?A: If you want to have multiple counters on your page but have only one of them actually update your counter information you must edit your counter HTML. Leave your original counter as-is, but for any additional counters, the second letter of the word page needs to be changed to a 0 (zero) so it looks like this: p0ge or b0ge or d0ge, etc. Make sure you still have on e counter on your page without the 0! This way, your count will be accurate, but you can still display multiple types of hits to your page.
